Overview

• This position is for a software developer for the Molecular Imaging Software Tooling team.
• We are a team of extraordinary, diverse individuals that create and maintain software tools that support the entire R&D organization.
• We are looking to find a software developer who shares our passion for software development and fits the fun, exciting culture of the current team.
• Candidate will work with a vast array of stakeholders to define requirements, create and validate software applications, and rollout the end product to the Molecular Imaging R&D organization for internal use.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and rollout software applications for use by the internal Molecular Imaging R&D organization
• Work with internal stakeholders (both software and non-software) to understand requirements and communicate possible implementation scenarios
• Develop proof of concept prototypes for software developer workflows, including exploration of Azure DevOps Services / Git, Artifactory, and other DevOps tools 
• Work with teams across time zones (US, Germany, and India)

Requirements

• Passion for software development and exploring new technologies.
• Passion for code quality and automated testing
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and a minimum of 4 years of software development experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in C# and angular. SQL database experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to define and understand requirements, propose implementation ideas, and deliver a customer-centric solution within a defined schedule
• Ability to work in an Agile framework for a team that is working on multiple simultaneous projects
• Self-starter who can learn on-the-fly and quickly learn the existing R&D processes and tools that are utilized for new product development at Siemens Molecular Imaging
• Preferred candidate would have experience in healthcare or another FDA regulated environment
