TN MRB Notification for Special Qualifying Examination for Asst Surgeon

The Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB), Government of Tamil Nadu has invited applications from 788 temporary doctors who were appointed temporarily as Assistant Surgeons, Medical Officers and Non-Service Post Graduate / Diploma holders & Tutors and continuing in service as on the date of this notification for a Special Qualifying Examination.

Candidates, who qualify this exam, will be absorbed as Assistant Surgeons on regular basis.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must possess M.B.B.S. degree for the Assistant Surgeon position.

In addition to the above, the candidates

Must be a registered practitioner within the meaning of the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
Must have served as House Surgeon (CRRI) for a period of not less than twelve months.
Candidates should have registered their name in the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or before the date of this Notification.

Job nature:

Candidates, who qualify this exam, will be placed as Assistant Surgeon on regular basis.
