Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB), Government of Tamil Nadu has released the notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Medical Officer in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani and Yoga & Naturopathy disciplines.

Assistant Medical Officer (Homeopathy) – 13 posts

Assistant Medical Officer (Unani) – 08 posts

Assistant Medical Officer / Lecturer Grade-II (Yoga and Naturopathy) – 35 posts

Important Dates:

Start Date for submission of online application: 26.10.2021

Closing Date for submission of online application: 10.11.2021

The Computer Based Test for the selection will be scheduled tentatively during the month of November 2021.

Salary:

The appointed candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Level-22 Rs. 56100 – 177500.

Qualification:

Candidates are requested to check the Job Notification Document for the detailed eligibility criteria.

AMO (Ayurvedha):

HPIM (Ayurveda) or GCIM (Ayurveda) or L.I.M. (Ayurveda) or a degree in B.A.M.S or equivalent.

The candidate should have registered his / her name with the Central Board of Indian Medicine or Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine.

AMO (Homeopathy):

Post Graduate Diploma or Diploma in Homeopathy.

The applicant should have registered His/ Her name in the Tamil Nadu Homoeopathy Council.

AMO (Unani):

BUM&S or other equivalent degree.

AMO (Yoga and Naturopathy):

Candidate should have a degree or diploma in Naturopathy with not less than four years of academic duration.

The candidate should have registered his / her name with Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine.

Age Limit: (as on 1^st July 2020)

SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ MBC & DC/ BC/ BCM and Ex-servicemen belonging these reserved categories: 58 years

Other General Category candidates: 35 years

Ex-servicemen belonging to General Category: 48 years

Job nature: Permanent Government Job

Selection Process:

The selection process comprises of a Computer based Test with objective type questions. Candidates will be short-listed based on marks scored in Test.

The short-listed candidates will have to appear for the document verification. They have to bring all the original certificates as claimed in their online application.

There will be No Oral Test.
