South Central Railway Scouts & Guides Quota Recruitment 2023
Railway Recruitment Cell – South Central Railway has released notification for the recruitment of 14 Level-1 and Level-2 posts against Scouts & Guides Quota.
Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online from 16.01.2023 to 15.02.2023.

The South Central Railway (abbreviated SCR) is one of the 19 zones of Indian Railways. The jurisdiction of the zone is spread over the states of Telangana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh. It has three divisions under its administration, which include Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded.
It was re-organized in 2019 and the divisions of Vijayawada, Guntur and Guntakal railway divisions were separated to form South Coast Railway zone. Secunderabad railway station is the current headquarter.

Qualification:
Level – 2:
- 10th or SSC or its equivalent with ITI Passed
OR
12th (+ 2 stage) or its equivalent examination
Level – 1:
- 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI. (For Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and S&T departments)
OR
10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT for other departments.

- Written Test – 60 marks
- Marks on Certificates – 40 marks
Certificates:

- Participation/ Service rendered in State Events/ Rallies
- Specialised Scout/ Guides Course organized at National/ State/ All Indian Railways Level
- Participation in District Rallies
