Salary:

The selected candidates will be placed at the pay scale of Level – 06 Rs.35400 – Rs. 112400.

Location:

Initially the posting will be in Bangalore and then will be relocated to a permanent campus anywhere in India.

Educational Qualification:

Master’s degree in Hindi with English as compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level;

OR

 Master’s degree in English with Hindi as compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level;  

OR

Master’s degree in any subject other than English or Hindi with Hindi medium and English as compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level;  

OR

Master’s degree in any subject other than English or Hindi with English medium and Hindi as compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level;  

AND

Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or 2 years experience in translation in Central or State Government office.

Age Limit:

The age limit of applicants is 18 to 35 years as on 20^th November 2021.

Job nature:

Selection Process:

The selection of candidates for appointment will be based on a Written Test and Skill Test.

Application Fee:

The male UR and OBC candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250. Application fee can be paid online or by visiting any SBI branch.

SC/ ST/ PWBD/ Ex-servicemen and Women candidates need not pay any application fee.

1)    Is there any Interview in the selection process?

No. The final selection will be based on (i) Written Test and (ii) Skill Test.

2)    Is this a permanent job or a temporary job?

The Junior Translation Officer is a temporary job. However it is likely to continue indefinitely.

3)    Which is the mandatory enclosure with the online application form?

Recent Passport Size Colour Photograph of the candidate (JPG/ JPEG file of max.             50 kb) is mandatorily required while submitting the online application form.

4)    Can candidates with any degree apply for this post?
