Qualification:

Candidates must possess a MBBS degree.

Completion of Compulsory rotating internship. Candidates who may not have completed rotating internships shall be eligible to appear for the written examination provided that, if selected, they shall have satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before appointment.

Upper Age limit: (as on 31.01.2022)

Candidates should not exceed 35 years as on 31.01.2022.

Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for employees of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and Government servant.

Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per Govt. norms.

Salary:

The selected candidates will be placed at the scale of pay of Level-10 of Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100/- to Rs.1,77,500/-) as per 7″ CPC. They will also eligible for DA, NPA, HRA and Transport Allowance.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process consists of the performance in Written Examination (200 marks) and Interview (50 marks).

The Written Examination will be of Computer Based Test with Multiple Choice Questions with duration of 2 hrs.

Written Exam details:

Section I: General Medicine & Paediatrics (100 Marks)

• General Medicine (80 questions, 80 marks)
• Paediatrics (20 questions, 20 marks)

Section II: Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics & Preventive & Social Medicine (100 Marks)

• Surgery (34 questions, 34 marks)
• Gynaecology & Obstetrics (33 questions, 33 marks)
• Preventive & Social Medicine (33 questions, 33 marks)

The final selection will be made on the basis of performance of candidates in Written Exam (200 Marks) and Interview (50 Marks).

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 500/-.

For SC/ ST/ PWD/ Departmental candidates, Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen  the fee is Rs. 250/-.

This fee of Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting Bank Charges as applicable, on appearing of the candidate in the Part-I Written Examination.

Candidates need to pay the application fee only through online mode.

Female candidates, Departmental Candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Person with Disabilities (PWDs) and Ex-serviceman should provide the details of beneficiary account in which they would like to receive the refund viz. Beneficiary Name, Bank Name, Account Number and IFSC Code etc in the online application.
