Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited is inviting applications for recruitment to Mining Sirdar and Surveyor posts in the coal mines located in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Vacancy Details:

Mining Sirdar:

Pay: Initial basic pay of 31852.56 per month + allowances

Qualification:

• Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS (OR) Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying. Overman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS.
• Valid Gas Testing Certificate issued by DGMS.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.

Probation:

There will be a probation period of 6 months. After successful completion of probation period they will be confirmed in T & S ‘C.’

Surveyor (Mining):

Pay: Initial basic pay of 34391.65 per month + allowances

Qualification:

Matriculation and Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS

OR

Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying and Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.

Probation:

There will be a probation period of 6 months. After successful completion of probation period they will be confirmed in T & S ‘B.’

Age Limit: (as on 11.10.2021)

18 to 30 years.

Upper Age Relaxation:

SC/ ST candidates: 5 years

OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 years
