West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti invites online applications for the position of Community Health Officer (CHO) under National Health Mission purely on contractual basis. Eligible candidates can apply only through online mode from 11 am of 02.11.2021 till midnight of 15 .11.2021.

Salary:

A consolidated remuneration of Rs. 20000/- per month will be paid to CHOs.

In addition they also will get maximum incentive of Rs. 5000/- per month.

Essential Qualification:

• Candidates should have passed the integrated course of BPCCHN included in B.Sc. Nursing
• Candidates must have registration certificate / provisional certificate from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC)
• Only residents of West Bengal, who should be able to read, write and speak Bengali, can apply.
• The selected candidate has to pass the Final Year Examination conducted by West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kokata.

Desirable Qualification:

• Candidates should have competency in MS Office & Internet
• Proficiency in Bengali & local language and dialect.

Age Limit: (as on 01.04.2021)

Candidates should not exceed 40 years of age.

Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates is +5 years.

Job nature:

This engagement of Community Health Officer post is on temporary basis.

Selection Process:

The selection is based on Written Test and Interview.

The Written Test will have 85% weightage and Interview 15% weightage.
