TNPSC Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination 2021

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the notification for Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Examination for recruitment to Computer–cum-vaccine store keeper, Block Health Statistician and Statistical Assistant posts.

TNPSC invites applications from eligible candidates only through online mode for the above mentioned posts to fill 193 vacancies.

Scale of Pay: Rs.19,500-62,000/- (Level-8)

Educational Qualification:

A degree in Statistics or a Degree in Mathematics with Statistics as a special subject or having qualified in any one of the following subjects namely:

Fundamental Statistics, Applied Statistics Probability and Applied Statistics and Basic Statistics for actuarial Science.
Fundamental Statistics and Applied Statistics.
Applied Statistics only
Probability and Applied Statistics.
Practical Statistics and Statistics interference

Block Health Statistician:

No. of Posts: 161

Scale of Pay: Rs.20,600-65,500/- (Level-10)

Educational Qualification:

A Degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Statistical Assistant:

No. of Posts: 2

Scale of Pay: Rs.35,900-1,13,500/- (Level13)

Educational Qualification:

A Masters degree in Mathematics or Statistics with working knowledge of computer statistical tools.

Age Limit: (as on 01.07.2021)

Maximum age limit is 30 years (should not have completed) for general category candidates.

There is no age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC(V)s, MBCs and DNCs, MBCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories.

Job nature: Permanent

Selection Process:

Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Written Examination and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments, a tentative list of eligible candidates for certificate verification will be announced in the Commission’s website.

After verification of the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be summoned for final selection through counseling method.
