Technician Trainee:
- Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering/Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973).
- Diploma in (Electrical/Allied branches of Electrical) Engineering/Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973)
- Diploma in (Instrumentation/Allied branches of Instrumentation) Engineering/Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973). OR
- BSc.(Physics) Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects during any of the 3 years course of B.Sc. Degree and passing of The National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) examination in the Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant) i.e. IM(CP) Trade

Operator Trainee:
- BSc. (Chemistry) Degree from UGC / AICTE recognized University / Institution with Physics as one of the subject during any of the 3 years course of B.Sc. Degree and passing of The National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) examination in the Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) i.e. AO(CP) Trade. OR
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology from UGC / AICTE recognized University / Institution and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973).
Pay Scale:
- Selected candidate will be undergoing training for One Year and will be paid consolidated stipend of Rs.9000/-. The Hostel Accommodation/ quarter on sharing basis (free of cost) will be provided to them during the training period.
- After successful completion of ONE year of training the Trainees will be absorbed in the ‘A6 Grade’ in the pay scale of Rs. 22000- 60000/- and the Gross Salary will be Rs.43, 076(Approx.).
