• Should possess Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a University recognized by the Veterinary Council of India
• Should be registered with the Punjab Veterinary Council
• Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential

Selection Process:

The selection process consists of a Written Examination and an Interview.

Written Examination: 480 marks

Interview: 60 marks

Total marks: 540

The Examination is a Pen & Paper-based Test, to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable OMR sheet using Ball Point Pen.

Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only: Rs. 750/-

Ex-Serviceman of Punjab state only: Rs. 500/-

Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Lineal Descendants of Ex-Serviceman (LDESM) Punjab: Rs. 500/-

All Other Categories i.e., General, Sports Persons of Punjab and Wards of Freedom Fighters, Punjab: Rs. 1500/-
