Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications for recruitment to 85 posts of Insurance Medical Officer in Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Employees’ State Insurance Medical Services Cadre under Labour & ESI Department. Salary:

Scale of Pay – Cell-01 Level-12 Rs. 56,100/- of Pay Matrix of Govt. of Odisha plus allowances.

The Specialists would be getting a monthly incentive of Rs. 30,000/- for Super Specialization, Rs. 20,000/- for Post-Graduation and Rs. 10,000/- for P.G. Diploma Qualification.

Qualification:

Candidate must possess:

  • M.B.B.S. or equivalent degree
  • A valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961.

Conversion certificate recognized by Medical Council of India in case of candidates having degrees from Universities from Foreign Countries.

Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2021)

Candidate must not be above 32 years of age and under 21 years of age.

Upper Age Relaxation:

SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women/ Ex-Servicemen – 5 years

Persons with Disabilities – 10 years

Persons with Disabilities belonging to SC/ ST/ SEBC  categories – 15 years

Mode of Selection:

The selection of candidates for recruitment will be made on the basis of merit to be judged by performance in Written Test.

The written examination will have one paper of 200 marks.

There will be 200 Multiple Choice Questions with one mark each for every question. The test duration will be 3 hours.
