NHPC has released the notification for the recruitment of Trainee Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical), Trainee Officer (Finance) and Trainee Officer (Company Secretary) through GATE 2021 score, CA/ CMA Score and CS Score respectively.

Remuneration:

Trainee Engineer (Civil): E2 – Rs.50,000 – 3% – 1,60,000 (IDA)

Trainee Engineer (Mechanical): E2 – Rs.50,000 – 3% – 1,60,000 (IDA)

Trainee Engineer (Electrical): E2 – Rs.50,000 – 3% – 1,60,000 (IDA)

Trainee Officer (Finance): E2 – Rs.50,000 – 3% – 1,60,000 (IDA)

Trainee Officer (Company Secretary): E2 – Rs.50,000 – 3% – 1,60,000 (IDA)

The total annual emoluments for the new joinee shall be approx. Rs. 15 Lakh.

Educational Qualification:

Trainee Engineer (Civil)	Full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc.(Engineering) Degree in Civil Discipline from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment upto 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)	Full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology / B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Mechanical Discipline from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment upto 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade Mechanical Discipline includes Mechanical / Production / Thermal / Mechanical & Automation Engineering.
Trainee Engineer (Electrical)	Full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology / B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Discipline from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment upto 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade Electrical Discipline includes Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics /Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Engineering.
Trainee Officer (Finance)	CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / ICWA or CMA from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (formerly known as Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India). Passed Candidates are eligible to apply.
Trainee Officer (Company Secretary)	Candidates passed in Company Secretary qualification with Membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) are eligible to apply.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit is 30 years as on 01.12.2021.

Relaxation in upper age limit shall be allowed to candidates of different social/ special categories in the following manner:

In case of SC/ ST by 5 years

In case of OBC (Non creamy layer) by 3 years

In case of PwBD – General /EWS by 10 years

In case of PwBD – OBC by 13 years

In case of for PwBD – SC/ ST by 15 years

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

The relaxation of age for Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government guidelines.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted as per merit based on the GATE – 2021 score, CA/CMA score and CS score for Trainee Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical), Trainee Officer (Finance) and Trainee Officer (Company Secretary) respectively.

The shortlisted candidates will be called to Corporate Office, Faridabad for verification of their documents/ certificates for which travelling allowance will be paid.

Candidates will be provided offer of appointment after document verification.

Processing Fee:

General, EWS & OBC (NCL) Category: Rs. 295/-

SC / ST/ PWD/ Ex-Serviceman category: No Fee.
