National Health Mission, Karnataka invites application from graduated Nurse candidates (BSc Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing) for the post of Community Health Officer (CHO).

Salary:

Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 24200/- for working in High Priority Districts and Rs. 22000/- for working in Non-High Priority Districts + Incentives up to Rs. 8000/- (based on performance) per month.

Qualification:

B.Sc Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

Age Limit:

• Less than 35 years of age for general category
• Less than 40 years of age for SC/ ST, Category-I and Ex-Service men
• 38 years in the case of candidates belonging to Category-II(a), II(b), III(a) and III(b) of other backward classes of the state.

Other Requirements:

 Should be domicile of Karnataka (10yrs) & know to speak, read and write Kannada.

Job nature:

The appointment is purely on contract basis up to a minimum period of 3 years to be renewed every year (364 days) from the date of appointment.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on online examination.

• The examination will be online in objective type for 90 minutes.
• The number of questions will be 80, and against which totally 100 marks will be allotted.
• Each question in general carry 1 mark (sixty questions for 60 marks) but skill based 20 questions will carry 2 marks (20 questions for 40 Marks).
• The exam shall be commenced at 11.00am and end at 12.30pm, date will be notified in NHM website.
• Reporting time at the exam center will be at – 10.00am.

Application Fee:

Application fees of Rs.600/- (Six hundred only) for both online Registration and to attend selection exam, shall be paid through Online process by the candidates.

The application fee for SC/ ST/ Ex-service (Men & Women) will be Rs.300/- which shall be paid through online process.
