Salary:

Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant – Level-4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 25500-81000)

Postman – Level-3 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 21700-69100)

Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – Level-1 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 18000-56900)

Qualification:

Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant / Postman:

The candidates must have passed 12^th Standard or equivalent examination.

The candidates will be required to furnish certificate of Basic Computer Training from a recognized Computer training institute before issuance of appointment letter.

For Postman’s position, knowledge of local language (i.e. Hindi) is required. The candidate should have studied local language at least up to 10^th standard.

The candidate selected for the post of Postman should acquire a valid driving license to drive a two wheeler or 3 wheeler or Light Motor Vehicle within a period of 2 years of appointment.

Multi Tasking Staff:

10^th standard pass from a recognized Board.

Knowledge of local language (i.e. Hindi). The candidate should have studied local language (i.e. Hindi) at least up to 10^th standard.

Age Limit: As on 15.12.2021

For the posts of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant/ Postman:

18-27 years

Upper Age Limit relaxation will be 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST

For the posts of Multi Tasking Staff:

18-25 years

Upper Age Relaxation:

Upper Age Limit relaxation will be 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST.

Mode of Selection:

All the candidates (except for those applying for Multi-Tasking Staff) have to appear for a mandatory computer typing test. The requirements are typing speed of 35 words per minute for English and 30 words per minute for Hindi.

Selection will be based on sports achievements and the minimum required educational qualifications.
