For Class-I: Pay Matrix Level No: 10- Rs.56,100-1,77,500 and other allowances (According to 7th Pay Commission)

For Class-II: Pay Matrix Level No: 8- Rs.44,900-1,42,400 and other allowances (According to 7th Pay Commission)

Qualification:

Any Bachelor’s degree

Age Limit:

A candidate shall not be less than 20 years of age and not be more than 35 years of age as on 13/10/2021 Age will be calculated as on the last date of receipt of application.

Upper age limit shall be relaxed as under:

S.&E.B.C., E.W.S., S.C. & S.T. Male candidates of Gujarat origin: 05 years (Maximum up to 45 years.)

Women candidates of unreserved Category: 05 years (Maximum up to 45 years.)

Women Candidates of Reserved Category: 10 years (including 05 years relaxation as Woman, Maximum up to 45 years.)

Physically disabled candidates: maximum up to 10 (ten) years subject to his / her ability to discharge duties attached to the posts, as may be performed by any other normal persons, on the bais of production of medical certificate prescribed by GAD circular dated 01-12-2008 from the Medical Board. (Maximum up to 45 years.)

Government Servant: No relaxation in upper age

Ex-servicemen / Officers: The length of military service (At least five years of military services) + 3 years

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on a competitive exam which will be conducted in two stages:  Preliminary Exam (Objective Type) and Main Examination (Written & Personal Interview)

Prelim Exam:

Paper-1 General Studies-I: 200 Marks, 180 Minutes

Paper-2 General Studies-II: 200 Marks 180 Minutes

Total: 400 Marks

Main Exam:

Paper-1 Gujarati Language: 150 Marks, 3 hours

Paper-2 English Language: 150 Marks, 3 hours

Paper-3 Essay: 150 Marks, 3 hours

Paper-4 General Studies –I: 150 Marks, 3 hours

Paper-5 General Studies –II: 150 Marks, 3 hours

Paper-6 General Studies –III: 150 Marks, 3 hours

Total: 900 Marks

Interview: 100 marks
