Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2021 | Notification Out for 2450 Vacancies

State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released the notification for recruitment to 2450 posts of Constable AB (Male & Transgender – 2220, Female – 180 & Nursing – 50) for the newly created Assam Commando Battalions.

Vacancy Details:

Constable (AB) Male & Transgender: 2220 posts.

Constable (AB) Female: 180 posts.

Constable (AB) Nursing: 50 posts.

Total: 2450 posts

Educational Qualification:

HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing Diploma is necessary.

Age: (as on 01.01.2021)

18 to 21 years as on 01-01-2021 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.2000).

Age relaxation for reserved categories:

SC, ST (P) and ST(H): 05 Years

OBC/MOBC: 03 Years

Additional 3 years in respect of National and International sports person from Assam.

Pay Scale:

Rs. 14000-60500/-with Grade pay of Rs 5600/- (Pay Band-II) and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be based on the following criteria:

Physical Standard Test (PST): No marks. Candidate needs to meet the minimum standard
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Psychometric Test

Candidates, who qualify the PST, can appear for PET. Candidates, who clear PST and PET, can appear for Psychometric Test.

Final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates as per the following criteria:

Male & Transgender Candidates:

Marks for PET: Maximum marks 80

Psychometric Test: Maximum marks 20

Total: 100 marks

Female Candidates:

Marks for PET: Maximum marks 60

Psychometric Test: Maximum marks 20

Total: 80 marks
